The Iceberg!

Where to begin...It has been forever since I last wrote.  So much has taken place.
I will start with the two weeks of Purpose and Potential, and Mission Statements.  They were probably the most amazing two weeks since I have been here completely mind blowing! I could speak about this week forever and ever.  I believe that discovering who we really are and what we are called for is something we all struggle to answer.  Yet I feel like it is the most simple thing ever.... The more you get to know God the more you know you.  Spend time with Him and let Him reveal himself to you and then you become revealed.  
Have you ever seen a picture of an iceberg?
What we see of an iceberg is only about 20% of what actually exists.. because 80% of the iceberg is under the water!! Our purpose and potential we think we have reached the top and figured it all out but the truth is most of our potential is still untouched.  There is so much more to me and you than what we see! 

We also did a silent retreat... A day of silence.   It was so amazing and everyone should do it.
We went to the botanical gardens and were quiet and just listened to God... So amazing to hear what He has to say about you.  I dare you to just listen! Really, Truly Listen!! We have such a messed up view of God that He is upset or has bad thoughts toward us but in reality there is nothing but great things.  If we all could just capture His heart for us I believe the world would be a different place! 
Just sit one day for 30 minutes to an hour and ask Him what He thinks of you... What his purpose for creating you!! INSANE STUFF!!! 


Then mission statements... I am sill amazed how God works!! 
I have to go now... but I will write later today or tomorrow or the next day haha about mission statements, the concert, and Holiday.. OH BOY DO I HAVE STORIES!!
